Grade 2 Listed Traditional English Pub - Circa AD 1350

The Cloisters is one of Salisbury’s finest eateries and historic pubs.  The building is a grade II listed building dating back to approximately 1350 ad.  Located 2 minutes from Salisbury Cathedral, the building still contains many original features.  It also benefits from open fires which are put to good use in the winter.

So rather than sitting and just enjoying the traditional hearty English food, or the famed Sunday Carvery, you can sit back, relax take a sip of your preferred beverage and soak in the history of the building while you refuel.

Aside from being able to comfortably seat 100 people in the main area downstairs, The Cloisters also has an upstairs function room, that we regularly hire for private events.  We’re able to seat 40 people formally, or 50-60 for a buffet style event.  Full details can be found on our private hire page.  Click the images below to get to our most popular pages.
